Resumo
O presente artigo é uma análise de um estudo de caso sobre direito à convivência familiar e comunitária,
resultado de uma experiência de estágio em Serviço Social, no período de 2007 a 2008, na casa de acolhida
para crianças e adolescentes “Lar Rejane Marques”, localizada em Recife, Pernambuco. Seu objetivo
principal é responder a pergunta: é possível a efetivação do direito à convivência familiar e comunitária
nesta casa de acolhida? Para isso, o artigo tem como objetivos secundários: abordar brevemente a história
dos direitos humanos e a trajetória dos direitos das crianças e adolescentes até chegar ao direito a ser
analisado, falar sobre o Lar Rejane Marques, além de mostrar as observações feitas durante o estágio
curricular da autora sobre atuação da casa de acolhida referida na garantia do direito à convivência familiar
e comunitária e as análises destas observações.

Abstract
This article is an analysis of a case study on the right to family and community life, the result of an
internship experience in Social Work, in the period 2007-2008, the foster home for children and adolescents
“Home Rejane Marques “located in Recife, Pernambuco. Its main objective is to answer the question: Can
the realization of the right to family and community life in this house of hospitality? For this, the article has
the secondary objectives: touch briefly on the history of human rights and the trajectory of the rights of
children and teenagers to get to the right to be analyzed, talk about the Fireplace Rejane Marques, besides
showing the observations made during the traineeship author on the performance of the foster home that
the guarantee of the right to family and community life and the analysis of these observations.
